Coronavirus Update

At the Practice

Acute medical problems, or anything you feel you need to consult a doctor or nurse practitioner forplease call early in the morning.  We will be offering a telephone consulting -service system every morning, with adequate slots to cover demand. Once these slots are full, you will be asked to call the following working day if your problem does not require urgent immediate treatment. The receptionist will ask you the nature of your problem to help triage your problem to the appropriate clinician – please give this information as it lets us help you quicker.

  • In event of a medical emergency continue to call 999
  • Home visits: please call early in the morning
  • Results / sick line requests / administrative requests: please call between 2pm – 5pm.
  • Medication requests: via the form on this website or your pharmacy.  Due to demand we are sorry we cannot accept these over the telephone.

COVID Vaccination Status Scheme

Your vaccination status is a record of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccinations you have received. Your status includes your name, date of birth, and any coronavirus vaccinations you have received in Scotland.

Get a record of your coronavirus (Covid -19) vaccination status from NHS Inform or by phoning the COVID-19 Status Helpline on 0808 196 8565. The helpline is open every day from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

  • Flu Vaccination -The way you will get your flu vaccine this year has changed. From now on, GP practices will not administer the Flu jab. Find out more.
  • GPs and their teams cannot issue vaccination exemption certificates  – Telephone the helpline on 808 196 8565 or visit NHS Inform
  • COVID VACCINATION: Please DO NOT  contact the practice to ask for a COVID-19 vaccination. You will be contacted when you are eligible. Further  information about (COVID-19) vaccine
  • Face Mask Exemptions – The Practice will not provide letters/certificates for face mask exemptions
  • Visit NHS Inform for the latest guidance on coronavirus COVID-19, including symptom checker, self-care and social distancing
  • If you have severe COVID-19 symptoms and need further advice call  the surgery
  • Isolation Notes are available online from NHS 111, if you are self-isolating and need a note for your employer.
