Eating Healthily and Exercise

In general terms, eat less fat and sugar, eat more fibre, fruit, vegetables, lean meat, fish and chicken. If you are overweight, try to get your weight down.  It is recommended that we eat at least 5 portions of fruit/vegetables per day. Any form of exercise is good for you and you should try to take a short brisk walk every day.

Our District Nurses and Health Visitors are highly trained to provide an excellent range of medical services and support to our patients in the community. On many occasions, they can help with your medical condition, rather than a doctor. Please ask our reception staff when you are making an appointment, which health care professional you should consult.
